Our Beliefs

1. The Bible is inspired.
2. There is one true God.
3. Jesus Christ is fully God.
4. Mankind willfully sinned against God (the fall of man).
5. God offers eternal life to all who believe that Jesus rose from the dead and submit their lives to his lordship.
6. The church has two ordinances: water baptism and communion.
7. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a second work of grace available to all believers.
8. The initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Spirit is speaking in tongues.
9. Sanctification is an act of separating ourselves from evil and devoting ourselves to God.
10. The church has a three-part mission: evangelism, worship and discipleship.
11. Involvement in ministry is a response to a divine call.
12. Healing from sickness was provided for through Jesus' suffering and death.
13. The blessed hope is when all believers rise from their graves and meet the Lord in the air.
14. The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of all Christians followed by the visible return of Jesus
to reign on earth for 1000 years (the Millennium).
15. There will be a final judgment when any one whose name is not found written in the Book of Life will be
sent to everlasting punishment.
16. There will be a new heaven and a new earth wherein righteousness dwells forever.
